This discussion is for college faculty, staff, and practitioners. Dr. Russell will discuss her two recent publications, What does it mean to be undocuBlack? Exploring the double invisibility of Black undocumented immigrant students in U.S. colleges and universities, The (Un)Embraced: The Experiences of Black Undocumented Students on College Campuses. For higher education leaders, practitioners, faculty, and staff who work with undocumented students on college campuses whether in a DREAM Center, admissions, student affairs, or in the classroom. Participants will learn how to re-envision student spaces to be more inclusive and impactful for the entire campus community.
